Default M-package springs on regular shocks/suspension?

Hello and happy new year

I was wondering whether M-package springs (so the springs which M-package e60s come with) can physically be installed on the regular E60 suspension/shocks.

I'm asking because I want a little tiny bit of drop but H&R and eibach both seem to lower the car too much for my taste/roads I drive on.

Thank you

As long as you have a rwd car they will work. You will need to change the shocks out with M-sport shocks(or aftermarket equivalent) for them to work as they should.

Also make sure you get the right ones as there is many springs for each engine/transmission option. There will be a letter and a number designation( ex. B2). The letter will be for spring type: sport, M-sport or base and the number is for the one matching your car options. Make sure to get a set that has the same number as your springs do now

I got Sachs 998 469 springs, they should be right for me engine besides the fact that it says "for vehicles with sport suspension" .

Could you please elaborate on that part? My current shocks are in pretty good condition (had them tested recently) and I don't intend on getting sports shocks (oem/aftermarket) unless the springs wears them out to the point they become garbage or if the car handles funny. Would this be a bad idea?
I'm not sure what you mean by "changing the shocks so the [springs/suspension] works as it should.

Its similar to lowering springs on stock stocks(for almost any car out there)

Lowering/m sport springs are stiffer. The spring rate is much higher than stock and the shocks are not damped correct to handle it.

They will wear out pre-maturely; could kill the shocks in 500km or 5k km. Either way it wont be a long term solution
