Lowering e60 xdrive - it's possible ?

Lowering e60 xdrive - it's possible ?
Hi!
I've an e60 530xd with M paket
I want to give to my e60 a better look.
As you know, the xdrive e60s have 2cm more than e60 RWD.
I don't want to use Bilstein B8 with H&R -35mm springs because my e60 will be uncomfortable.
I think to a better thing and more cheap !
If I buy the OEM RWD e60 spring and install them on my current damper I think that my e60 will be lowered with a value of 2cm.
What do you think about that ?
But bad new, a BMW dealer said me that if I lower my e60 xdrive, I will have several issues and warning light which will turn on on my dashboard like "4x4 or xdrive failure".
The lowering of xdrive e60 can trigger issue like that ?
