I don't think it affects the AS. And I'm pretty sure it doesn't affect the DD as well, when it's just the springs. But I'm no expert, so I can only guess.

Someone on here has lowered their car with the sports package. Hopefully, they will chime in. Or, maybe they have already answered that question on another thread. Search through here for a lowered E60 or an E60 with aftermarket wheels. Sorry, but I don't remember the exact thread.
