Hi. Can you please post a few pictures of the tinted tail lights? I'm thinking about using those 17% tint films for the head light as well. What do you think? I'm about to get a 08 528i on lease and would like something reversible like a few other members around here. Also does anyone have a chart for the state laws regarding tints for tail lights and head lights? I know where to find for window tints only.

Yeah I saw the same listing for the tail lights and head lights. I'm planning to get it from the same seller. How long did it take for your tints to arrive? Are you planning to install the film yourself? If so, let me know how it goes out. I just got a reply back from the seller stating it works for my 08 E60 as well.

Hey C, is your film covering the whole entire tail light? I remember reading a post that you use to only have the smoked effect on the white/clear/top portion of the tail light and I know you finally got the red part done via this thread. I believe the eBay listing is for the red part of the tail light which I prefer more. I think if I film that part over, it might look too black. I'm planning to shadow trim the chrome door trim and tint the windows, head lights, tail lights, and a black matte grille for the front. Do you think it will look good with a Sapphire Met black 528? If you know any other fellow members that have a similar setup, please link some threads for me. I'm open to new suggestions. I'm just starting on the small mods since it's still a lease. Any changes will be consider later stage when I actually get my car.

 

Just tinted my lights (again). Went from tinting just the signal portion (lights burned in truck fire ) , to the whole light (sold), and back again.
