looking for acc 12v in/near the glove box fuse panel.

Can someone tell me the fuse # or location near the glove box I can get 12v that turns off/on with the cars acc?

I have a '06 530xi

What exactly are you looking to install? There may be a better route than the fuse box.

You have a 12volt cig lighter/accessory plug in the passenger foot well. These turn on/off with the ingnition. Tap into that and you are all set.

I don't know. But if you get on your hands and knees and look all the way up/under the passenger foot well you might see one of the cig plugs/ports.

Thanks.. I am hooking up an aux input and power plug for a USB in my glove box.. I am trying to get my iPod to charge (when I am driving) and turn off (when I turn the car off).

The iPod in my previous car would turn off automatically when the power was removed or stereo turned off..

is this it? boy thats weird I never new that was there and Ive removed my glove b4 LOL. why would bmw put a cig lighter somewhere no one can even see it?
