Light bulbs for the rear license plate?

let us know, i installed my bulbs last nite and they look awesome 
speciall on a black car 
but got the litte triangle there... so the options for resistors i have seen are:
1-100ohm--10w
2-25ohn-25w
or
3-60ohm-50w

Having a hard time uploading the pictures, but here's the scoop:
You need a pair of 50-ohm, 10 watt resistors (similar to the ones jiio found at the MB site) +/-$2.00 at Radio Shack.
Remove the license plate light housing as diagrammed above.
Remove the stock light
It is a tight fit, but bend the wire at each end of the resistor so it will slide through the holes in the contacts for the bulbs. Then place the resistor inside the housing, tucked against the edge, leaving room to place the LED festoon in the housing.
Place the LED festoon into the housing (make sure the LEDs are pointed in the right direction). There is plenty of room to fit the LED into the housing, as it shares the contacts with the resistor wires.
Both sides took a total of 5 minutes to complete. Turned the car on, lights on, no warning triangle.
I know, I know, this post is worthless without pics, but I thought the info was worth it. It looks pretty sweet. I'll post pics when I figure it out...

But how would you install the resistor , would it be series, or parallel any cutting necessary ? I can get a large quantity of resistors at wholesale price but i just want to try and see how they work on mine first. Anybody can share insight?

You could cut the wires at the end of the resistor if you want, but I do not feel it is necessary.
Not being savvy with the electronics lingo, I believe it is installed parallel, as it has direct, shared contact with the LED bulb and +/- contacts.
