My Ride: 08 528i TiAg Premium/Cold Weather Pkg, 20% Tint, Technic Harness, JL Audio 12W7, JL HD 750/1 and LOTS of lighting mods!!!!!
I have these on my car and they're slightly brighter than OEM.
If I could go back I might have purchased these.
However, once I do my xenon HL retrofit I'll probably buy these as I intend to install HID angel eyes and they will match good with them.
As for reliability, for the price you really can't go wrong, and a lot of this stuff seems to be the same as the stuff the big shops sell (correct me if i'm wrong). I'm saying that because I have a buddy who works at a stereo shop and sells ebayed products at a mark up. Not that stereo shops and performance shops are the same. But i'm sure they do, to some degree, operate in a similar fashion. For bulbs...ill never pay top dollar. Its not worth it...plus these LEDs work just fine
Good luck!

My Ride: 02/2006 525i Titanium Silver Metallic
Manual 6-Speed
One option is to get the OEM E90 LED fixtures and make your own harness for them. Its very simple, and you use BMW parts.
Do a search, there is plenty of info on DIY and part #'s etc:
