I installed LED's on my LCI car with no resistors. I have no issues. It took about 2 minutes per side. Good mod. Cheap and easy. Looks great

OEM is not too expensive if you're considering longevity and the best looks. Here's my receipt for the parts from BMW:
Attachment 48305

This is the only picture I have of the adapter untaped. The adapter looks intimidating, but it's really not that bad once it's all taped up neatly.
Attachment 48306
Thanks for taking time to scan and all.. appreciate it. I am going to go w/ OEM route too then

Hey guys... I just order the LED License Plate bulbs from the same guy on Ebay this morning. Out the door it was about 34 dollars. Hopefully I can install them and have no error messages. They said 3-8 days till they arrive. Anyone else order these? How did it go?

I've had these on my car for over a month with no issues.

They are great. No messing with resistors they are built right into the bulb. Go for it!
hmm..interesting - so no strobing on startup in light position "A" ?

I've got led bulbs with the resistor but they strobe on startup even in A.

If you install a relay into the loop, you won't get an strobing.

yeah, I thought about that reading the thread, it's gonna start looking like circuit board behind there ! - this intergrated led seems like a neat solution.

Can someone post pictures of these bulbs before you install it. It would be interesting to know how they are built. They must have the resistors built into the bulbs itself.

I just ordered a set for $32 shipped off the same guy. He had 2 auctions and I got the cheaper one. I will post pics when I receive them.
