Yes, it is BMW OEM license plate LED's and there is a resistor in the wiring. Expensive but No Error Message in I-Drive and I like the Wiring. OEM is the best.

Try adding high watts resistors, I have an higher resistor for awhile now and no error messages. Try that!

I'll try to get some photo's of the resistors over this week if i can pry the resistors out from the trunk cause i double sided the resistor to the inner sides of the trunk. I'll post pictures sometime this week so keep an eye out for it.

My Ride: Silver/Grey E60
I did the resistor thing.. Got them for 2 dollars from Radio Shack.
BUT... i took them out beacuse I got afriad of heat issues. They get REALLY REALLY hot in that small area.
