Hello, I'm new to e60 forum as I just purchased 06 550i and I still am extremely happy with it. But I came across some problems. I ordered R-Dash racing LEDs and installed them few days ago. It seemed to work fine for a day and second day, license plate lamp malfunction error came up (left side) so I turned off the lights, turned it back on, and error message was gone but I noticed that from left led housing, few leds were out and it was little bit warm compared to the other side. Third day, same problem but this time left side was not turning on at all so I switched the led housing right ones to the left and It still didn't work. I also put stock ones back in but still the left side would not come on at all. I still have the error message. What can this be? fuse? If so, where can I check the fuse? Hmm...

there's a fuse diagram in the trunk, just open up the emergency kit and it should be there.

Hey, thanks for the info. If it is not the fuse, does anyone know what else might be wrong?

did u try flipping the good side to the bad side? Check to see if the RDash License Plate Lamps is malfunctioned. Where did you purchase it? Contact the vendor.
