My Ride: 520d saloon, manual 6 ratios, olivin metallic, star spoke 122 alloys, delete boot badge, bi-xenon adaptive headlights including washers, graduated tinted windscreen, exterior and interior mirror auto dimming plus electric folding door mirrors, extended light package, dakota beige leather, dark poplar wood, electric seat adjustment including memory function, heated front seats, advanced climate control, velour floor mats, sliding front armrest, lumbar support for front seats.
Seen these on ebay and they look really nice.
Has anyone used them and if so would you recommend fitting these lights? It says that a resistor is included so that the dash warning does not show "blown bulb" as often is the case with aftermarket LED replacements.
So what do you reckon?

Thanks both of you for your mails. It does seem a little dodgy to get something not OEM. Howver, the OEM facelift lights only have LEDs for the indicators and not true LED technolgy for the tail and brake lights I believe.
These aftermarket ones only have LEDs for the tails/brakes and not the indicators - you just can't win.
Couldn't BMW make the whole unit LED instead of driving us all mad?
They did it on the last 3 series coupe so why not on the more expensive E60

I could-not-afford-a-530d-LCI-but-I-got-the-looks-like-it-feature.
Makes one look really cheap, for those who really know and can afford the real LCI 53xd one.
Others do not see the differance - they do not care about such changes nore see it
