1) What determines intensity of the brightness of LED bulbs? let sa the bolb has 9 leds does that mean its realyl bright:?
2) If i change the interior bulbs to led, would it trigger errors?
3) Is there a certain model number of different led bulbs that fit into different situations? if so, what models?

Thanks!!

1. It really depends on how the individual LEDs are wired - series or parallel. If series - the more you add the lower it gets, in parallel - the more you add the brighter it gets but then the bulbs need some voltage divider/stabiliser to feed each LED with exactly the correct voltage.

2. Depends. If the LCM checks each and every bulb then YES you would get errors.

3. Can't help with this one.

Since you sent me a PM about this I'll just answer it here.

1) Go to http://www.autolumination.com/ and whatever they say is the brightest bulb in that style is usually the case. I've purchased many bulbs from them for my car now and many past cars. I've never been disappointed with them!

2) I've changed all of my interior bulbs and have had no errors at all

3) Once again go to http://www.autolumination.com/ and research that site. The key is to make sure that you don't get bulbs that are too big. They give the actual measurements of the bulb. make sure they are close to the stock size or they won't fit back into where they are supposed to go. The base may fit according to the proper type of bulb #, but the top of the bulb (the bulb itself) may not fit back in where it goes.

I just realized that I answered a bunch of questions for you in your thread that you posted over a month ago!

Good luck...just do it already!

Here is my LED Interior.. the best investment ever!
Also no error message or any problems.

Sorry took so long to take pics of this.. gosh I love it.

I put this LED board into the interior, really easy to take apart, just get a small flat head screwdriver to get it out.

Do these interior LEDs dim the same way as the stock bulbs?
