Which LCM do I need?

Which LCM do I buy, There seems to be so many. I've got an 04 with xenon and active headlights. I'm installing 08 LCI xenon with active headlights. I do not have HUD Do I buy one for an 08?

some say others work but from experience as far as i know the only lcm that can be programmed for the retrofit is the LCM ending in 4944.

I believe it works if you dont have HUD becuase randy also is helping me with this LCI conversion. So the part number randy is mentioning is the correct LCM you need for your conversion.

Check with your local BMW dealer because my dealer was still able to pull up the part.

well my local dealer told me that parts#944 is discontinued , and there was a list of replacement , but will the new one work ? i dont know .

the new part number is 61359192642 according to getbmwparts.com if you type the old 61359154944 in their parts search engine http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...72&catalogid=0

the new part number appears. the new number is also valid on realoem.com website.
