US cars have no difference in pre-LCI or LCI. The brakes have always been both lights and your BFD has always been in the circle fog light. Which is why with my cables your lights work exactly like on the LCI cars. In Europe things a bit different.

Bruce:
Do i only need your cables to fit LCI tail lights on a 03/04 E60 530d? I saw a thread earlier today and the OEM kits have another cables. I do think this cables is much better and easier to fit? right? No warnings in iDrive?
Do you make shipment to Norway?

No, but I'm sure I can make some for the 6 as well if you send me loads of pictures of the plugs etc. I remember making some modules so someone to get his 6 sorted and I did the same for a 3 as well. So I know I can do it, its just not a product that is ready.
I've been using the V6 cables with no problems for the last couple of months, however every so often I get this:

It is always the rear right brake light, but the thing is after a couple of seconds it disappears as if nothing is wrong. I've had someone behind the car check if the lights are working and they reported no problems. Weird

There is an easy fix you can try. Or if you prefer I can swap your V6 for one from the current production batch, that should not give you these errors.
The possible fix involves swapping the Green and Grey wires on the plug with the 6 pins. PM me for details.
P.S. : You may not know this but sometimes even cars without my cables can give these random errors even when everything is working fine. So it all depends on the frequency of this error.

This happened to me last week. I have had the V6 cables for a few weeks only. So I'm guessing this problem is not just with the early generation V6 cables?
No harm, no foul, I suppose. I did get out of the car later and check all the lights and everything seemed fine so I'm not sure if I should be worried or not?
