I am about to try building a Cable set for the E61. Are there any E61 owners near London or Watford - UK who wont mind me testing the cable on their car.

Alternatively if I can see some pictures of how the pre-LCI E61 taillights look in comparision to the LCI E61 shown here http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...st&p=423675 that would be great too.

Having a 2005 BWM 545i in the US, I'm looking to upgrade the tail light assembly to the more up-to-date LED. I purchased the 2008 assembly and have now been told they fit my BMW perfectly expect the electrical harness doesn't match. Five pin for my 2005 vs. a seven pin for the 2008 assembly. Will your retrofit tail light kit, fix the problem and allow me to upgrade?

Yes my cables will allow you to upgrade your car to use the LCI lights. Its all plug and play. You can order a set directly from www.mironics.com

Hi Bruce,
Have you managed to get both brake lights to light up on each side with the V6? I can't tell properly from the pictures but it looks like only the inner bulbs light up when the brakes are applied?

That's the only thing preventing me from buying this - would love it to be absolutely OEM
Cheers

I'm sorry but I wont be changing the design of the kit anytime soon. I actually prefer the way the pre-LCI has been designed because then you get fog and BFD as separate bulbs. On the LCI if you have the rear fogs on you loose the BFD light.

Can you explain this for U.S. customers? We don't have rear fogs.

US cars have no difference in pre-LCI or LCI. The brakes have always been both lights and your BFD has always been in the circle fog light. Which is why with my cables your lights work exactly like on the LCI cars. In Europe things a bit different.
