I think I just may have resolved the strobing issue!! I'll be absolutely sure tomorrow when I get some good parts but today's experiments were a success. Finally there is hope for all those who have wanted a strobe free LCI light.
To keep time and costs down I am going to only add the circuit to the Turn lights because we know that the LED rods do not strobe if the Light switch is in the Auto or On position.
A question though, not related to this cable. You are very good at doing the electronics stuffs, why don't you install the ACM module yourself ??

Does anyone know where the of the flasher unit is located in the E60? I want to replace mine with a heavy duty flasher to see if all strobing is eliminated all together. Pictures would be great too.

Thanks in advance.

I would like the modules that can be affected by a CIP upgrade covered by the BMW warranty. I would hate to hear BMW tell me that they will not cover my car because I did something myself. My BMW dealer sucks but I cannot help it. They did this to me even for my Aux retrofit which was very easy to do myself but I had to take the car in. Hence I play around only with items that are not affected, cannot be programmed or probed during an upgrade.

-------------------
I still have to work out how to fit all the parts into the enclosures and then test this a bit before I can actually start selling these. If I can re-use all parts then I may provide an upgrade option to people depending on the work involved. I didn't think I'd manage this but it seems do able now.

I see your point. ACM module may or maybe be affected by CIP upgrade. I don't know what my dealer say if I do the ACM module myself (I want to do it my self). I only have about 1 year to go with my manufacture warranty. So, I can get the module now and wait for the warranty expire before installing it myself.

Wish the testing of the new cable going well, then we can start buying from you.

Any chance you would be willing to make a cable that will not strobe at all, regardless of light switch position and what would that cost...approximately?
