for the LCI tail lights, i believe it will require wiring kit and light module for e60's produced from 03/2005 up to 09/2006..
has anyone ever done this? And does it flicker or cause any errors?

If you dont know about Bruce's cable's, they are plug and play for the LCI tails on Non-LCI cars. He's got a cable version 6. Check the group buy.
If you are thinking about not buying the cable and wanting to wire it up yourself. Check the DIY section and look for RICKY's posts about wiring it up yourself.

Check the group buy section. I believe there is one for the newest cables and a good price too.

Where did you get yours from nigxdoof?
As for the cables. They are like $250 from bruce in the group buy. I got it for more than that at the time they came out. Version 6. =)
