BTW, I might be jumping back to an E60 if I can work things out financially, but going D this time.
Yes, fits perfectly with pre-lci cars and yes getting it to work might be a problem

andy545 has done it to his car which is i believe a December 2004 built Pre everything e60. The new kit comes with the whole conversion parts, so now its called LCI CONVERSION not RETROFIT. If your car does not have BiXenon then the scenario might be what drantispy is experiencing.

My car doesn't have Bi-Xenon but just regular xenon, no adaptive. It has the normal projector lamps, everything. Anyways, my dealer is claiming that my BSI Warranty will be void if I do this "conversion", I said "bull****", since its a kit from BMW themself, why would it ruin my electric system warranty??? o_O Anyways, does anyone have the official bulletin or something that I can shove in their face? Thanks. Mine is built 09/06, do I need the light module? Any way to tell besides those numbers?

Read this thread again. Andy has posted the PDF that you can use. Your dealer is talking nonsense about the warranty going void. You may need another LCM or if you are lucky then your car may be one of the first few that were fitted with the new LCM.

I finally got the "LCI Conversion" facelift lights installed....successfully! Wow very nice looking....worth the trouble and effort in the end!!
My car is an '04 model with built date (12/2003) and one of the oldest ones to undergo the procedure. Now I feel like I can bring a sense of closure and update everyone with some detailed information in the next few days.

Great. Please share photos and details in here. I'd like to know how extensive it is, labor- and cost-wise. Thanks.

Has anyone tried retrofitting LCI headlights without new loom and LCM?

Surely isn't is a case of adding a relay to the angeleye bulb curcuit?

All the rest of the bulbs comsume same power as pre lci?
