This is a mod I am thinking of doing, I already have teh steering wheel, my car is build date 05 2007. Has anyone had any joy with this?

I have installed a M6 steering wheel with paddle shifters and have had the wiring done so i can actually use the paddles!

Not that I use it much, but its good to have!!! Happy with the mod!

See the other thread linked above. Two of us have completed the full retrofit with the sport auto transmission functionality and paddle shifters. Others have completed part of the retrofit with everything except the paddles. With an 05/2007 build you will be a 2008 model, so LCI -- check carefully any "retrofit" kits you see, as all of the ones I have seen previously were not for LCI models. Note: In the LCI models, the paddles communicate with the car's other modules differently than pre-LCI
