LCI iDrive Knob compatible with pre LCI

Well, as the topic heading implies - i am wondering if the "leather" iDrive knobs are compatible with my '05 E60. I bought the car secondhand, and it has a little ding on it and i'm quite finnicky when it comes to "imperfections" - as i'm sure all of you are!
BTW, before i get flamed on the search function - perhaps someone can enlighten me why when i type the keywords i am looking for, sometimes there are posts that pop up that have nothing to do with my query. I guess i need to refine it somehow.. perhaps you search gurus can elucidate?

yes, the lci idrive will fit your pre lci e60..

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
