I just got the wiring and plugs for the LCI headlight conversion, I installed the LCI headlight today and I went in to some problem, first of all , my 05 530i can't recognize the parking light, ( which I assume it's the angel light ) . when I turn the lighting switch to parking mode , the angel light suppose to stay on constantly, after I did the installation , the LCI angel light only stay on for a few sec and then it shut off and then the Idrive display the parking light is malfunction? Why it does that? I have a Adaptive headlight w/ HID

also , I really want to find out what's the resistance ( resistor ) for the Fog Lamp for upgrading 35W HID? I search, some told me it would be 50ohm 50W , I can't find Wattage that huge ? I assume I have to get it online... can someone give me a hand on this one. thank you in advance

Didn't realise someone was doing an after market LCI headlight conversion kit. If you've got the BMW kit then you need to get your LCM re-programmed from your dealer and you wont need any resistors or anything.

From where did you get your kit?

If you have a car made after Sep 2006 then you don't need a new LCM otherwise you do. You may also need the new tail-lights because I do not think you can program the LCM only for the new headlights.

Yeah, my vehicle was an earlier 06, so I had to buy the headlights, taillights, and LCM. For what it's worth, just taillights and LCM doesn't work either.

He has an early car:

You can get them from realoem.com, your local dealer, or from any number of junkyards. Where to get it installed depends on where you live, of course.

How much did it cost for your dealer to update your LCM? I have a 2007 Non-LCI and my rear lights are already LCI with Bruce M's conversion box....Does anyone know how much time and cost for the dealer to update the LCM?

The LCM module itself is about $500. Programming pricing depends on the dealer.
