I had the same concern about squeeling before my first set was installed. I followed the instructions on the website for bedding in the brake pads and never had a single problem. Was kind of fun, too.

I installed these pads on both my 08's the day I brought them home. Use CRC Disc Brake Quiet on the back of the pads during install. Any auto parts store carries it.

Yep, that's my technique. A good beding in procedure. However I also discovered by accident to spray down the rotors (with water) good when washing the car. Then don't move the car over night. The rotors will develope a fine coating of rust. I actually heard the pads scraping the rotors when I backed out the driveway. Then do the bedding in procedure. I have found street pads need about 2 medium stops from 45mph followed by 5 hard stops from 60 to bed in. Be sure to not come to a complete stop between each braking application, and then drive at least 10 minutes with as few of stops as possible to cool them down. Finally, park on a level surface and DO NOT use the parking brake. Its OK to still smell hot brakes after parking the car but the procedure should smooth out the surface between the pads and rotors to minimize or eliminate the squeaking.

I've come to understand that the reason the stock disc brake pads leave this annoying dust residue is because the pads are soft when compared to aftermarket pads (such as Axxis) So when you consider that the after market pads are probably harder, which is why they would create less dust, I would also suspect that they probably also generate more heat due to greater friction. Have any of you experienced an unusual amount of rotor warping, which might be due to excess heat?
