I had the same concern about squeeling before my first set was installed. I followed the instructions on the website for bedding in the brake pads and never had a single problem. Was kind of fun, too.

Yep, that's my technique. A good beding in procedure. However I also discovered by accident to spray down the rotors (with water) good when washing the car. Then don't move the car over night. The rotors will develope a fine coating of rust. I actually heard the pads scraping the rotors when I backed out the driveway. Then do the bedding in procedure. I have found street pads need about 2 medium stops from 45mph followed by 5 hard stops from 60 to bed in. Be sure to not come to a complete stop between each braking application, and then drive at least 10 minutes with as few of stops as possible to cool them down. Finally, park on a level surface and DO NOT use the parking brake. Its OK to still smell hot brakes after parking the car but the procedure should smooth out the surface between the pads and rotors to minimize or eliminate the squeaking.
