FlowerFred,

I have not seen anything in the US regarding the leather on the central armrest. Maybe part of the exclusive leather, or executive package in UK?????

I know that I would like to have it.

just wondering, isn't the central armrest supposed to be with leather upholstery? Or is that a UK thing?
It's not just a UK thing.
We have it on the US cars. It is hard leather though.

Or I could be mistaken

I don't remeber seeing any stiching on the armrest. Reminded me of textured plastic, but could be wrong also.

ok, sir flowerfred, let me change it to "angry" and with the smily . then everybody understands .

do you guys think it's normal to wait two months for a chrome grille and wood shifter? even though it's back order, i don't think it should be this long.

I ordered my chrome grills from Crevier BMW and recieved them 3 days later. They did however refuse to install them without an appointment. I'll try to install them myself later this week.

ok, now i know that jerk (salesperson) didn't place an order for me at all. i'll call the parts dept to verify tomorrow. if they don't have anything show up, that mf is in deep sh1t ! sorry about my language but that a$$hole really pissed me off !
i've read some threads about installing the grille on your own. i'm not trying to discourage you but it seems quite complicated...at least for me. but if you are a handyman, give it a try. it'll save you at least couple hours unreasonably expensive labor charge. good luck and please post some pics after .
