Ray Hull mentioned that these may be slippery. Have you guys had a problem with the pedals being slick. I like the ones Katheikia has. This is mainly a price driven decision since I am a cheap skate. Also, I will need one for the clutch.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Haha. Never thought I would see "cheap skate" associated with 550.

I'm still debating about which pedals to get. Bimmian also has the racing pedals which are made by www.ultimatepedals.com. I contacted UltimatePedals directly and they can do custom engraving like "BMW" on each pedal so I'm leaning towards that.

Argh. Last night I ordered the pedals that Katheikia has, but I think I like the Bimmian ones better. No offence Katheikia. Oh well, the price of impulse purchasing I guess. They still look nice and I am sure they will be fine. You can't beat the price.
One thing does come to mind. Has anyone with a manual transmission had problems with shoe damage as a result of these type pedals. The OEM rubber edged clutch and brake pedal appear to be forgiving should you rub your dress shoe on the edge of them, whereas these look like they could cause scratching and scuffing to a dress shoe if you are sloppy with getting your shoe behind the pedal or scraping against the edge of the pedal. Maybe these will force me to be less sloppy with the clutch and brake.
