thanks guys.

I bought it from eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/320600429906

I used Dremel 3000 https://www.google.com/search?q=Dremel (Search for a good price) you can use other tool too I guess.

the template is included for cutting... but the sizing is incorrect. Please follow Rizbel size: https://5series.net/forums/topic/114...ender-grilles/

btw much thanks to Rizbel.

Where did you all find this information out about the aluminum?

Can you get them without the M5 emblem inside? It didn't appear as it comes any other way. I might be interested in doing this if there are other options besides M5...

The emblem can be peeled off/not installed. If you noticed the op's vent does not have it on.

Nice job! I always fear that if I did this myself, it would inevitably come out crooked KUDOS!!!

i dont think the door skins are aluminum. however everything front of the A pillar is aluminum....my magnets i used during vinyl wraps wont attract anything forward of the A pillar. i always have to use tape....

be careful with the assumption that aluminum doesnt corrode or oxidize....you could still incur some issues. you may want to at least have a paint shop give u a fresh clear coat...but thats just me.

the install looks clean tho, nice job

you're right. it is the newer F10 5 series that has aluminum doors.
