Yes I believe there is a sprintbooster specifically designed to work with the M5/M6 SMG.
That's no correct. They make 3 versions:

1) Automatic/SMG (Yes, the automatic version is also made for the SMG)
2) Manual Transmission
3) M Version for M cars only

I am really sorry for making this a question thread, but the only reason I am not buying it is because I fear it will have bad long term effects. Isn't it bad if the RPM's are always higher than they should be?
try this explanation.

it does not increase the rpm at all, it mearly sends a much faster signal to the cars ecu saying "gas has been applied" making the "response" that much faster/crisper, its like enhancing your reflexes there is hardly any delay...its instant
almost like turbo lag being eliminated

your car has a rev limiter fitted.

You are still modding even though your car is up for lease swap?

are you worried about the long term effects of chainging your tyres also??
its the same thing, there are no bad effects...short or long term, its not "changing" things...its mearly making them faster

if you change gear (manual) slowley...its like changing gear very quickly

thats all it does, it enhances the experiance.
as said on here loads of times just try a mates car that has it fitted...its the only way to be sure.
