My Ride: 2004 545, Sport Package, Steptronic, NAV, L7, PDC, Sunshades, Titanium Gray over Black, Bluetooth
Does anyone know if the software update needed for the BMW IPOD integration has to be completed before OR after the unit is installed. My I Drive keeps crashing and am planning to have it fixed under warranty. I am planning to install the IPOD unit myslef and have the dealer reprogram the retrofit all at one time. Also, am I expecting too much for the dealer to activate the IPOD for free since they need to fix the I Drive??? Thanks
2004 545 Nav L7 with CD Changer in glove box - Already reads MP3s
One more question - Recently had Bluetooth retrofit performed and updated CIP 27.2.1. It has been since then that the I Drive has been slow and crashing. Does anyone know if this version has had any problems? Thank You
