You may need fiber envelope plug p/n 61138387214 pic #11 after you break that 'fiber loop' then that envelope go into the power plug housing (you may see it in there too) already there which look like pic #12 and all together they plug into the iPod interface.

Thanks man, so this peice connects to the fiber loop piece which connects to both the power plug and ipod interface, right?

In the middle of the fiber loop you'll find a small plastic jumper block, when you pop that open you basically break the fiber loop then take the 2 fiber and insert them into the envelope (the one that has red light goes to hole nbr #1) then you'll find another plug which is the power plug that has 2 wire then insert that fiber envelope into it.
