Hi Guys,
following on from my earlier query,
can anyone advise if the Gateway 500 system is generic to all suitable vehicles?
Only reason I ask is that I have found one for sale - advertised to fit an Audi A6.
Are they different or not?

You can configure car compatibility with DIP-switches, the SW and HW are the same for all cars.

Well I bought the bullet and ordered a new Dension Gateway 500 system direct from a UK supplier.
It should arrive today and will be installed over the weekend - with the useful tips and pictures already posted by other
members.
I am hoping to add on to the system and integrate an aftermarket colour screen with a NAV system.
Anybody done this?
