Ipod Intergation for 545i?

i have a 2005 545i and i wanted to put in the ipod connect because my car didnt come with one. how much are they and are they hard to install?

members have done this retrofit. There are a few options out there to do it, run a search using the upper right tool bar, perhaps "ipod retrofit", you will find more than enough info on this subject. GL

My Ride: E90 M3
Model Year: 2011
Aux Input is cheaper but does not give you iDrive integration like the iPod adapter does. Just an FYI if that's important to you. I had it done on my 545 and loved it. Installed cost was right at $500 including labor and tax. Depending on the software version your car is running, you may be able to buy the part and install it yourself. Keep in mind that it replaces the 6-disc changer in the glove box. If you don't have the 6-disc changer, it can still be done but the cost will be a bit higher for the install...

where did you go to get installed? the dealership?
