Hi i'm new here and am interested in installing the iPod interface.

I checked the forum and found out it's easy to install when you have CD changer preperation and you have the X18180 connector readily available.

But I don't have that so how do I start ? Do I need additional wiring ?

Who has done this conversion ?

Welcome to the forum.
Because you're new here, we don't have to ask you to do the search.
First of all, we don't know what your car model year and options, so please update your signature so we can help you more efficiently w/o exchanging too many threads.

If your car has CD changer prep, all you need to do bring it to dealer for retrofitting. It's much cheaper when you have your car has software update under warranty since all they need to do afterward is perform retrofit function which does not take as long as upgrade the whole car with new software version.

Good luck!
