I have found a company who can make an Ipod adapter for the e60/61. It seams it depends on the interest of e60 owners.

I think this would be great!

Dension USA?

What is involved in getting it connected with the car?? I wouldn't want to do some cutting in the wires of the car.

It says it goes through fiber optics, I don't think there can be any cutting or splicing through that.

I'm in aswell love to have something better than itrip
which is somewhat frustrating when you drive more
than 20 miles around town and your music drifting all
the time

It's not available, yet. We need to put our name in the waiting list and they'll make decision if it's worthwhile to make the product.

I've added myself to the wait list. Thanks for the pointer.

I hope the word spreads. This company is local for me. My neighbor uses one in his Honda and it works great. I think this system can also be used on other BMW's rather than what BMW is offering with the Ipod.

Spread the word.

Joined the wait list - not sure though if it'll work with Sirius - the FAQs say that Audi's sat radio is incompatible with this unit.

I added myself as well. Looks like this could be a pretty neat product.
