When they introduced the new series of Ipods last week, I totally expected the new series would not utilize the proprietary "ipod" connector. But alas it still does, so I guess the 300 bucks i just invested in the ipdo interface is still usable for one more series of ipods.

Even if they do change the ipod's in the future , we can always buy the new one to play and show off and the old one can stay in the dark glove box and continue to serve its purpose until one day it will get depressed without proper love and kill it self lol

Since you're talking about upgrading your wheels, you could post your question in the "Parts, Accessories, and Mods" (this) forum.
One quick comment though, it's quite likely that your question has already been posed and answered so take a look and/or do some searching. If you can't find what you're looking for, by all means ask away...

Then I can simply add regular valve stems in to the 124 before I can sell them.
Any thoughts?

Thanks Rudy..Appreciate your input regarding this wheel stuff. One question I have is regarding wheel modification. If I take the TPM sensors + Valves from my current 124s and install them on these new OEM 166's they supposidly should work fine and all information regarding the tire pressure would work...? All I supposed to do is to re-calibrate this whoel assembly in my I-Drive?

Go to the search page and put "valve stem" into the search field (don't use the quotation marks) and you'll see a ton of stuff about this...

I've read in many places that if you are upgrading your wheels to a different size, say 18" to 19", you'll have to get new sensors because the old ones will not read correctly, since its reading 18" wheels and tire pressure. I'm sure the 166 comes in 19s right? I'm pretty sure you have to change the sensors, do a search, it must be there somewhere... Cheers...

Ok this thread seems to be talking about the same thing you are asking aR. To be honest I'm not much of an expert with these wheels stuff but this thread may be helpful to you..
