I have gotten a 07-550iA & also New to this forum.

Question is regarding connecting iPod with the New Interface I read about a couple of months ago. I believe it was either in Roundal or in Bimmer..don't exactly remember. I am sure everyone know that by now.

How do I go about getting it installed in my car. Is it a delar installed option ( I mean a hardware addition OR simply a sofetware upgrade?)

Thanks...Appreciated a reply..

Step 1 - Go to dealer and order part.

Step 2 - Pay ridiculous sum of money for part.

Step 3 - Make appointment for dealer install.

Step 4 - Apply generous amount of personal lubricant to anal cavity.

Step 5 - Insert wooden stick or similar object into mouth and bite down.

Step 6 - Try not to scream while dealer anally violates you.

Step 7 - Pay dealer another large sum of money.

Step 8 - Purchase a hemorrhoid pillow so you can sit after the ass reaming you get.

Step 9 - Kick yourself for not just getting the AUX Input.

Any questions?

by the way...my car does have an Aux input...you probably need to pay attention to my question before replying with a in appropriate and vulgar reply..

I am NOT talking about the AUX input but a different setup- Pay Attention..!...What Kind of Specialist are you any way..?

does not sound like that you know much about BMW and New Tecnological Advancements. I think you need to enroll yourself back in to a BMW School so you can get yourself some "Real Beemer Education". That will then allow you to call yourself a real Specialist..Got It..!

Come on guys, aR550 just joined today -- how do you expect him to know that subterFUSE is kidding around?

aR550, please don't pass judgement on these forums by only reading this thread...trust me, you've found the place to be for all things E60...

hey aR550,

subterFuse is just joking around wit you.. you could call him a tease.. he passes funny comments like that, get to know him first before you judge him, as you can probably read in other threads, he's just playing around, but if you need to ask him some serious question, he'll answer you like I did about my sound system.. cheers guys..

about the ipod interface, I've read a few thread that it could be installed without programming since it uses the program of your cd changer (meaning it replaces your cd changer), given you have the cd changer option in your car. If i were you i'd order the part, install it myself then if it doesn't work, just bring it in for coding.
