IPod in Armrest

Hi
Can anyone please point me in the right direction for any instructions on how to run a cable for my IPOD to the centre armrest.
I have bought a mObridge IPOD connector - but really want the IPOD in the armrest rather than the glovebox - and the car is new (to me) Im nervous about removing trim etc etc
