My Ride: 2008 E60 520d - 1995cc-177bhp, Business audio, Adaptive Xenons, ACS Roof & Trunk Spoilers, M6 Kidney Grill, ///M Badging, Carbon Fibre Door Lock Pins, ///M Wheel hub caps,
I am also in midst for installing the IPOD kit, have ordered one from Schrulog (Roger).
From what i understand of all the replies here,
IF one has the CD Changer already, then it is just plug and play,
If one only has "prewired" wire left in the glove box fro the CD Changer (but minus the CD Changer) then they have to get it reprogramed.
Am i right in my understanding?

Hi all.
Finally got my iPod kit today, and i unplugged my CDC and plugged that socket into my ipod kit.
I connected my iphone 2g (running on 2.1firmware) and it says initially "loadning content" on the cd1,2,3,4,5,6 but a couple of seconds later, they are all disabled (greyed out) and i am not able to access the iphone at all. even after hours!
I can definately play mp3 on my single cd indash slot. mine is a MASK Business Hu with 6.5 inch screen with CDC factor installed with my car.
Please help
