Well this could change my whole approach to MP3 solution. I do not have an iPod, rather using another brand via Aux in. ANd waiting patiently I must add, for MP3 on my CD slot from BMW. BUt a fully integrated Ipod would change my approach. We have got to get more concrete info on this possible breakthrough. An announcement such as this surely means they are very close.

More of the press release

"We noted that the users of products like the Apple iPod have a strong affinity towards advanced technology and product design. This is evident in the range of vehicles which our customers ask us to integrate to. More and more of these vehicles are supporting the MOST standard and we are delighted to be the first company to offer an aftermarket integration solution for this platform.? said Lee Harris, Director, Product Marketing. ?We expect to start shipping by Q2 2005 and we will be glad to demonstrate our integration to visitors to our CES Booth #71453 and Apple Expo Booth #807?.

I think it is too late for CES, but maybe someone can get their butt over to the Apple Expo in San Francisco starting tomorrow through the 14th

Something wrong here - it says Q2/2005 is this an old press release (1 year old)? and all this is BS as they are not there yet? I could not find this press release on the 2006 CES site. I now think this is old news

I'm pretty sure that's a press release from last year. Mac World starts today (January 10)--the dates in the press release quoted above are last year's dates.

Please excuse me if I have misslead anyone. Not my intention. I got carried away by the seemingly good news.

I checked the CES site and it seemes confirmed that this pressrelease was from last year. Their booth this year (2006) was 8538 Central Hall.

The realease still makes me wonder what went wrong at Dension....

Yea, I see it now. Consistent with the responses people get from Denison when calling or email - "soon", "pretty soon", or no response at all
