What stupid @*$^@ Ok... so cars cant have modified exhausts but a dumb @ss harly can have an exhaust as loud as they want...

 

I think New York already has a ban on loud aftermarket exhaust, I know a bunch of people who have gotten tickets for noise pollution due to the exhaust back since like 2001. :thumbsdown:

 

In So Cal they have been handing out tickets for loud (modified) exhaust for years.

Agree those Harley's (choppers) exhaust are insanely loud, its ridiculous.

 

+1 back in the day my friend got pulled over and was getting a ticket for modified loud exhaust.. then a harley passed by and i asked the cop if the harley's exahaust was legal and within the sound decibles ect. he responded to say the harley isnt MODIFIED it was made that way so its legal... thats total BULL SH!t i dont agree with it.. if your trying to give tickets from noise it shouldnt matter wether mod or not.. but thats how the cookie crumbles

 

Yup I think its BS too... good ol US of A... oh and not to mention cars have to pay Gas Guzzler Tax when we get below 21mpg but all these SUVs and Trucks that get like 13mpg dont pay a penny for Gas Guzzler tax.
