Default Interior LEDs with Ambient Lighting

Hey folks,

I am considering LEDs for my interior, but unsure how does it gel with ambience orange lights. Any one got any idea or pics .. ? Cheers

hmm.. let me try and offer some insight.
the led interior lighting will not have any install issues with the ambient lighting. from my knowledge the ambient lighting is simply that orange glow from the leds over the center console. I don't know if you mean how will the ambient lighting look with the interior led's on? at that point i don't think it would be visible.

When shopping around, check to see if the kit come with footwell lights. some e60's don't have foot well lights. mine for example does not.
It would be nice to have led for the interior and door puddle lights, as well as interior trunk lights.
Goodluck!

Sorry, let me rephrase my question.

I wanted to know the visual effect of mixing LED colour with orange ambient light.
I have not looked for footwell lights in my car. I will check this evening.

Part of the joy is that I am finding new kinks every time I drive .

You'll either see one or the other at any given time, so it doesn't matter. You can't see the ambient lights unless its pitch dark. I would definitely get the interior LEDs...it really modernizes the interior.

I have the Crazy Interior LED from Motorcepts. I enjoy the LED interior with the external welcome light (outside mirrors, AE, rear tail rods) when entering or exiting the vehicle. Ambient light is only of use when in the car at night.

Ok I see the difference after reading up and checking my car again last night. So LED it is.

My outside mirrors already have an LED pointing downwards, so I guess they are the welcome lights. Please clarify (perhaps with pictures if possible) what are the rear tail rods ?

Also, is there any link you can post to purchase the interior LEDs as a set on eBay or elsewhere ?
