[quote name='sufu' date='Oct 24 2005, 05:47 PM']It has alomst been one year since I had e60 530i as my daily ride~

I really love this car esp. the performance and the look!

but, the HP seems not enough.....coz its just 225HP,

and not the new 250HP engine

since it is 2005.?

Therefore, I am looking for a intake to gain more HP and have the sound! hehe..

I only saw GruppeM one for e60, which cost around $1500.00 something

and it give like 9 extra HP.

The reason why I open this topic is because I would like to know more info

and see some pics of intakes on ur e60!?

thank you so much for sharing~

the powerchip sounds good, shouldn't we wait for dinan or any other north american bmw specialist with dealers in the states?

What if it comes back faulty or connection tips are damaged? How do you explain that to the dealer? how do you even get the car back to the dealer?

Go to this thread here http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=Chip+tuning for more info on chip tuners.

Although the focus was on the V8 4.4L engine, most, if not all, these tuners have something in their lineup for the BMW I6 as well. All are reputable tuners, with most having US distributors or reps. I oncluded prices for the 4.4L version and in most cases I believe teh I6 will be cheaper.
