I had the Gruppe M intake in mind at first, but i backed out immediately after seeing the price of it. It is ridiculous that an intake can cost $1500 USD.?

So i went for Powerchip instead. I paid about $500+ for the chip. They claimed that you will get better fuel economy. and gained about 15-20hp. In my experiences, i do notice slight differences especially when you push it hard after 40mph. As for fuel economy, i get slightly better fuel economy than before.. NOT MUCH but slightly better.

Do you live in S.Cal? Go to EuroRev if you want to do the chipping.. they are able to do it in less than an hr for you.?

hey how come you are paying so cheap for the chip? I went to their website and configured for my car and the total came out to $1490!! Am I missing anything here??
Yg punya EuroRev org indo.. jadi kasi lebi murah. And $1490 is for 545i.. 530i is much cheaper than that.

Temen gw yg punya 645i di chip sekitar $800. Mao gak? Hehe

That seller is a SCAM. The intake is a piece of shit and i wasted my $200 on it. I bought the same intake from him and couldn't be installed on my car. Alot of people encounter the same problem and he didn't reply any of the emails.. BEWARE!

At the expense of sounding like a broken record...save your money--these intake kits are BS. Most are clothes dryer vent hoses...some painted to look like carbon fiber. Then there's the so-called cold air kits--and most actually intake warmer air than the stock intakes. And, of course, the "free flow" air filters...with bogus HP claims...and most--being oil coated cotton--will foul your MAF.

Here's an alternative--right click & save below, and send me whatever you were going to spend on these intake kits...
