Once i found the right allen key to remove that screw.. it took me like 5 min.. tops.. I even texted Phi during and after.. which was pretty quick..I have to admit.. I thought my beast would lurch out of the garage...lol.. she didnt.. but I did notice that my lag was gone.. I went up that same annoying hill that always slows me down.. and presto..NO LAG.. LOL.. my wheels did slip as I backed into my garage though.. im on a hill and it is starting to drizzle..lol.. my son was like "woah mom" lol
I did not red line as others have stated.. If i threw it in sport forget it.... she turned into an animal.. maybe then i would have been close to red lining, but i quickly took that option off cause of the wet roads.. I took it easy, for now..
) im not light on the foot... so all in all.. for the price.. time it takes to complete this little mod.. lack of problems-no error messages, zip! and fun-ness of it.. Id say its pretty cool.. wonder whats next..
already got my quote.. just waiting...

How does this affect fuel consumption? A lot or minimal?

I received mine today, from Chet @ CKS Performance as well. Installed and the lag is indeed gone but I think I'm going to remove it and wait for winter to pass by before I use full-time.

Should be minimal. It doesn't raise your RPMs or anything. Now if you're more prone to top-fuel racing at every stop light just because you have it, then expect to lose some fuel econ. But remember - the burn rate for the engine at a given speed and RPM will be the same, Sprint Booster or not. You'll just have a more pleasurable time getting to that speed.

Must say I am a little underwhelmed with mine. Maybe the forum hype had me expecting more. I notice small improvement in acceleration, nothing to get excited about. I actually notice an increased difficulty with the transmission finding a gear. If I punch it, car gets get kinda jumpy like it can't decide on a gear. Anyone else notice this? I will give it a little more time since i just installed today and only drove a few miles.

I'm just curious, how different is the SB when compared to driving in the sports mode. I feel that my car is more responsive and aggressive in the sports mode with SMG. How will installing the SB make it perform better?
