Well I think the car runs much smoother and a liitle be more on the throttle response.
You save alot of money & waste, it beeter for our world too.
No need to get a new 1 every time.

Actually, I'm taking the car in for service and an oil change next week...so will wait till after to put the K&N on the car and remove the extra filter. I had the mass air flow sensor go bad on my e46. Had a CAI with a K&N filter, but removed it before taking the car in for the warranty repair (it was already having problems before the new filter was installed so it was not a cause of the problem). I always wondered what the dealer would have done if the CAI was on the car when I brought it in for a bad MAF. So I would rather not have them see (and maybe document) this mod right now just in case it could be an issue in the future.

But it will be on right after I get it back from the dealer! I've had K&N filters on several other cars in the past and always been pleased with them.
