Well, I had my doubts about the K&N filters, but thanks to you guys and this thread I just ordered one. Have my car about 2 years, so it's probably due for a filter change anyway.

I've had my K&N on my SUV for almost 3 years now and it still sounds great. But I'm sure that too, could use a cleaning or a new filter. Hmmm...thanks for reminding me. Now that you mention it, I'm going to order a new one for my truck now.

Let me know what you think, when you get it. I would give the car a day or so before making any comments. The first time I drove around, it didn't seem too much different. But after a day or two of driving and pushing the engine to 5-6K rpms, you can now notice a difference.

I have cleaned my for 4 time in 2 years and it still has half bottle left.
so right now I saved $80us which I can mod on other stuff.

absolutely. the filter part number is the same for the 525 and the 530. i paid $48 on autoanything.com. shipping was free and no tax. came in 1 day, since i ordered it in the morning. buy it.
