Monocobleu Metallic paint, on beige interior..
Cold Weather Package... Heated front seats, steering wheel and headlamp washers.
Standard 10 speaker soundsystem.
Just went to a BMW auto show, and saw a subwoofer made by Infinity, it was called the "basslink." Supposidly this speaker is very easy to connect to the factory system.... has anyone had any luck with it in the e60? I know that the trunk is very soundproof, so im not quite sure on how well it would work.....

I have one in my e39 (now wife's car) and we like it just fine. It all depends on what you are looking to acheive and how much you want to spend. If you want a high end stereo (like Lgoic 7), then this won't deliver. If you want to punch up the bass a bit on a standard audio system for minimal expense, the BassLink does that quite well. My e39 had the standard audio system and it was o.k. but it lacked bass. I picked up a Basslink for under $200, installed it in the trunk, wired it up using a diagram & great instructions I found on the web at an e39 site and it achieved what I wanted.

Basslink is not a good system for a turnk like our E60's it would probably sound good in a small truck, I tried all kinds of basslink, clear, I II all the crap, it couldn put any sound, you are better off running a small box with a MTX 10" and a 330W mono amp.

There are certain subwoofers that pick up different frequencies, that work well with E60, based on my experiments,
JL works good
MTX has a bigger magnet , bigger coil = better power for the same size
I also checked out Kickers, eclipse and Sony - they dont work as good as JL or MTX in our trunks.
You probably can get the JL - W3's or MTX 4400s at the same price, MTX has better continous output than JL.
Keep in mind all I was looking at are 10" and NOT 12". More power rattles the trunk and I wanted to keep it balanced.
