Good thread! Those leather chairs are awesome LOL

I have the Britax marathon seat for our 2 year old, Peg Perego for our 15 day old The Peg is nice as it clicks directly into our stroller. Easy transition for the little one.

I'm going to order those Lionheart seat protectors today!

B.
Had the same set ups, Peg Perego infant seat/stroller combo when my son was born and when he was a bit older, switched to the Britax Marathon; one in my car and one in my wife's car. I also have the seat protectors and I think they're from Lionheart as well...forgot.

Now that he's 4, I'm thinking of switching to some Recaro booster seats. Thinking of red/black ones so the red can accent my red Brembos.

We've decided to take the baby-seats of Maxi Cosi. The model is Prior XP and they are in black leather...

So, everybody is sitting on black leather...

Picture:

oo snap now that is hot! wow.. black leather baby seats! i like the way you think.. not like im goign in that direction ever ever again.. but that is so cool

o and my sister got a britax for my nephew.. and well she keeps it in her acura truck and when we tried putting it in my car facing the rear of course forget it! i hurt my head. neck.. bent all over.. couldnt even get my nephew in the seat let alone barely fit the damm seat.. it must have been a wierd model, its sitting on some base too which makes it nearly touch the ceiling of my car.. horrible and i told her if you ever want me to watch him again buy a different carseat for me cause i hated that one! lol.. so i know this isnt helping but whichever model she had dont get it!! lololol..

bmw545, i would recommend getting the isofix plastic part which helps save the leather when using isofix. i think what ever seat you use it will still separate the leather where the latch is. dunno the part no. but here's a picture:
just throw a towel under the car seat wenever it isnt beinq used you simply remove it and the baby seat

It looks great when its nice and clean. My kids will stain the leather in no time.

We have a couple of Recaro "Young Sport" seats in my wifes suburban. These are very well made and look like they offer superior side impact protection too!

Installed a Britax in the wife's car this week and going to put a Recaro in the E60 this weekend. Both are nice but the Recaro offers better side protection. It also seems stronger as it is pretty big and heavy compared to the Britax. I am pretty sure the Recaro will fit in the E60 but it may make it a pain to strap a kid in when it is rear facing because of it's size. We will see. I will take pics and post.

If you page up about 3 1/2 years to post #10 in this thread you can see how the Britax "Boulevard"'s fit front and rear facing. You are right though, very tight fit when rear facing!

What ever you do make sure they match the interior. Wife thought I was nuts when I picked a more expensive seat in order to get the right color. She just doesn't get the car thing.

Just tell her it's like picking shoes to go with an outfit...
