ROMER and BRITAX are the same product but they use different brands according to the markets.
GERMANY, FRANCE, SWEDEN, FINLAND, PORTUGAL get R?MER brand.
UK/USA only BRITAX.
In FRANCE, SWEDEN, FINLAND you can get both brands.
The BMW chairs are made by ROMER/BRITAX and some by RECARO, but more expensive.

We've decided to take the baby-seats of Maxi Cosi. The model is Prior XP and they are in black leather...

i have the combi...convertible... it looks like the above pix... but it is a combination infant /up to 55 lbs... rear facing and forward facing as the child grows.... it is quite big.. but serves its purpose.. eric d

I'll give you 4 reasons why: 1) highest car seat safety rating (Fed Govt); 2) only seats sold in U.S. that are also sold in Europe (Euro car seat standards are tougher - go figure - like everything else; 3) most are certified for airplane use; and 4) they're comfy and your kids will love 'em!
