I asked my dealer what parts and labor for
1. Two red reflectors for the rear of the US BMW (6.10 Euro each)
2. A complete snap in set and cradle for the Nokia 6230i cell phone (Snap in is 64.74 Euro, Aufnahme ?Admission ? is 14.30 Euro, Ablageschale ?File bowl? is 41.50 Euro, and the eject box is 73.60 Euro
3. and the wood poplar gear shift knob, is 101.29 Euro,

Total of 356.87 Euro (for part)s = $452.00
Labor for 3 ? hrs is 270 Euro = $343.00 (labor)

Total in dollars is $789.00??? For parts and labor.
Did anyone pay that much for snap-in cradle and parts?

Is this a good deal?
I think the price for labor is a little to much what do you think?

You can do 1 and 3. Maybe, 2, too.
3.5 hr is too much.

1 & 3 shouldn't be any longer than 15-30 minutes.

They are probably just looking in their lists and it says how long it can take. But ask them to charge only what they really have in labour time, not what BMW recommends... And then wait for the car.

You own a BMW. Of course you're getting ripped off. Love hurts.

there are step by step instructions in DIY complete with pictures. I followed them last week and I had the complete install of the phone cradle connected and working in about 45 minutes....save your money. This forum can walk you through just about anything!
