You can get only the white/blue ones like Iceman has :
front and back door sills illuminated - 440 EUR
front(illiminated) and back (not illuminated) door sills - 335 EUR
PRICES FOR GERMANY

I know you are from Sweden, but please put your country in the signature, like this it is easier to answer your questions for everybody.

Those Individual ones pictured on the catalogue in the link above aren?t illuminated. All of them I saw - last today at the dealer - were not illuminated.
The M5 E60 might get some but they?re labled as "M5".

Btw I saw the EBA (manual for retrofitting), there has to be 4 holes drilled in the car to get the wireing into the interieur, also all undersides of the dashboards and the B-columm has to be removed. Also the glove box.

As I understood the new parts are glued over the originals.

All this makes me unsure, I want this.

Which link do you mean?
If this:
http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/attachmen...tachmentid=2519
then they are illuminated for sure. Sometimes for security reasons the demonstration cars are cut off power so dealers cant demonstarte the illumination. Sometimes dealers are not competent. ... But I have got the technical description from BMW Individual... they are lighted

...in red? That would RULE! Anyone with a BMW Part Number? In my catalouge there are only the usual Individual ones.
Today I saw an Individual 530iA E60 with those but they were not illuminated.

BMW Individual is a specific programme. The Individual door sills are illuminated in orange/red (they do not have any others) but you can get them only if your car is BMW Individual (has specific VIN number). Probably you are mixing Individual parts with usual accessories.

What does "Individual" mean as it relates to a BMW?

Thank you,

Dave

It is a BMW programme consisting of 3 packages with enhanced choice and quality materials for the exterior colours ,interior trims and colours, wheels,etc... You can find details of it on their website. It is availbale for ordering the car at least in Europe and rather expensive. For US it is problematic to order as BMW NA is reluctant to support it.

I can't see the picture for illuminated individulal, can someone post it here.
If only individual cars can have them, I would like to have them.

Thanks
