My Ride: 520d SE Jet black / anthracite Advanced air con Sun protection glass USB Style 244 wheels
Thumbs up

Wondered if anyone else had experenced this, when I switch the car off (even for quite a short period), I have to go back through the menu to reset the playlist. The car brings up the last song being played, but will not show the rest of the playlist unless I go back into the i-drive menu and select it again.

Is there a way around this as it is pretty annoying...

(using USB with 4th gen i-pod by the way).

Loving the new car all the same, 650 miles into the running in period and freeing up nicely!

This is probably one of my gripes also. I don't think there is a way around it, unless someone knows better?

It's behaving as designed and there's no way around it. This is one of the areas where BMW really needs to do a better job with future software updates - the controllability of the iPod using the BMW iPod interface is REAL poor.
